Goats Cheese and Walnut Crostini

I’m sure the ‘recipe’, such as it is isn’t mine. I mean, someone of my limited culinary skills and low intellect is highly unlikely to come up with delicate slices of goats cheese, placed on walnut oil-drizzled, rustic bread, topped with walnuts and baked until the cheese melts. If I ever have the misfortune to appear on Come Dine With Me these Goats Cheese and Walnut Crostini might just be my starter with the addition of a little rocket side salad and served with a decent bottle of South African Sauvignon Blanc (obviously!). Perhaps canapés would be a better option as I can’t quite see them winning many points for culinary creativity or presentation. Taste-wise though they might just swing that grand my way…
